Learn How To Teach A Yoga Class

In this training, you’ll join Connie for a 40-hour immersion that is dedicated to teaching the practice of Yoga. The training is a personal sharing of Connie’s style and philosophy of yoga. It is designed to provide an environment where your own unique understanding and perspective of yoga emerge out of direct experience and dialogue and you become confident in sharing it.
What is a 40-hour, Training, and Immersion?
These 40 hours are dedicated to the philosophy & practice of Teaching a Yoga Class with a slant toward sharing this practice with others. Most sessions are split between practice and a mixture of discourse, interactive dialogue and question, and answer assignments. You will also share this practice by teaching during your time together. Connie is focused and serious about the subject yet the training and practice are light-hearted.
Will I get a certificate of completion?
Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion from Connie Pease and Yoga at Connie’s. That is, if you attend each class, arrive on time and remain for the duration of all sessions, complete all homework and requirements. However, Connie wants you to keep in mind that by attending this training you are not buying a certificate. You are buying an experience.
What are the subjects covered in these Weekends?
So many different topics could arise during these interactive, non-dogmatic sessions. Yet there is a certain knowledge she wants you to walk away with. You will know how to teach a yoga class, you will learn a complete routine of about forty poses called ‚and you will practice sharing this routine. You will learn the multi-dynamic possibilities of every asana. You will learn yoga philosophy and history and depending on time, you may learn some Sanskrit. Other topics include working with injuries, personalizing a practice, yoga & business and much more.
Who is this training not for?
*Those who expect a traditional training.
*Those who have expectations of topics to be covered other than what has been mentioned.
*Those who don’t like immense physicality and expanded mentality.

Friday 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am-4:30 pm
+Required to attend 4 Community Classes at the Studio.
