Emily is a very busy mom and a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with over 15 years of experience in the field of medical nutrition therapy. After experiencing several chronic injuries from running, Emily turned to yoga as a means of strengthening muscles that were weakened and injured from years of running. She wanted to find an exercise program that she would be able to do for the rest of her life. About 2 years ago, she attended a session of Yoga in the Park, instructed by Connie, and she was hooked. She made a goal to attend one yoga class each week. Eventually, it became 2 classes per week, and in 2015 she completed her 200 hour teacher training certification. She loves the connection between mind and body that yoga offers.
